We were delighted to find this in our morning news surf:
But what do you think—are you in favor or against a statewide smoking ban?
Just in time for spring fashion shopping, we've found the perfect accessory for the Lincoln Park Trixie who has everything: fashion for her Frappachino. Yep, the Cupcoat is a haute couture coffee cup wrapper from -- where else? -- Seattle designed to keep you looking hot while preventing your morning java fix from scalding your fingers. (Another benefit: reducing the amount of trash produced from using that paper wrapper every morning.) Available in 30 different styles, the looks range from a macho rubberized version to a faux-fur version. Cup Couture, the company that makes them, says it has sold 10,000 of the things, which cost between $12 and 16, since January. They're not available in Chicago retail outlets, but you can buy them online. That may change soon: Cup Couture is on the cusp of making a pitch to Starbucks. Would you buy one of these things?
